I have a client that needs a splash page up asap while site is being developed. Other than logo + facebook links etc is their any interesting splash pages that have caught your eye. Just don't know what the standard is for something like this.

I'm working on this website for a client
they had a designer do this in flash a while ago and need it updated but want to keep this type of functionality. is there a script or an easy way to emulate this without it being done 100% in flash so that it can be viewed on smart phones / ipads etc ?

in a mixture of work on my site - seemed offended and pulled his contract with me due to this image - so the question - should i retune my portfolio to be more generic and client friendly or should i just not be concerned about it and show what i feel represents work i want to attract - the job i lost was fairly decent pay and larger client
