Learning Motion Graphics Oct 21, 08, 4:49 p.m.

I've been looking at the movie title sequences on www.artofthetitle.com and thinking - man, I'd love to learn how to do that. Except I don't even know where to start.

Is that something I could learn on my own (without paying for school)? Any advice?

I'm trying to find a site I thought I had bookmarked, but apparently didn't. There were a bunch of sites organized by color, or design elements (i.e. minimalist, or use of splatters, etc...). It was a good resource for just seeing different approaches to web design.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or am I just crazy?

anyone know a good dvd ripper for pc? i know of mac the ripper for mac, but i only have access to pc for now. i'd like to end up with .mov files if possible.

not ripping anything copywritten, so no need to get all excited.

how do i get my iframe not to scroll horizontally, but still scroll vertically?

iTunes asked me to update, and so like an obedient little orange, i did. now whenever i play quicktime .mov's over the web, it "hiccups", starts and stops.
never used to do that before. anyone know a fix?
