My ringtones, for you all Jan 17, 08, 6:12 a.m.
I've gotten quite a bit of enjoyment from reading a lot of your comments here. So it's time to give back a little. I've posted some mp3 ringtones from my archives that you might enjoy for yourselves.
Canon 550ex Flash Question Nov 5, 11, 3:49 p.m.
I have a 550ex flash that I use with a Canon 10D, but the problem with the flash is that on two separate occasions, the AA batteries inside the flash exploded and left a crust on the connectors.
Is this flash salvageable? If so, what's the best way to clean the battery connectors?
cool dj short film Mar 11, 10, 2:27 p.m.
I'm know dj myself, but this was definitely a good watch. Daedelus, J-Roc, Ras G, and Nobody

Chicago, sort of... May 27, 08, 1:16 p.m.
I filtered this topic and got a lot of good links, but my situation is that of an express day (this Sat) to visit the city, in proximity to where I'm staying.
I get in around 3pm and I'm going to be staying up near Lake Forest which seems to be about 30 miles north of the city.
Now my q's:
Is that a decent area? Or is it suburbs?
Is there a train that runs that way or should I cab it? The cubs are playing early that day so no ball game.
Any info will help - thanks!
the new spam Apr 8, 08, 10:57 a.m.
My personal email account is getting BOMBED with these emails. Like every 5 minutes or so about 5-10 more emails come in. It's as if they're getting bounced back to me...
Anyone else having this problem?
178 Square Feet Feb 20, 10, 10:37 a.m.
Saw an article in the NYTimes about this guy who lives in a 178 sq foot apartment. Pretty nifty use of space...
Dear Adobe Updater, Feb 25, 08, noon
You suck. And you don't live up to your name. So stop with the empty promises already.

Doc coming out about The Shining and Kubrick.
A lot of laurels and awards in the beginning of the trailer so it's probably amazeballs.
San Fran Beer Fans Aug 10, 12, 8:06 a.m.
Hey San Fran peeps
I'll be traveling out there for a work trip next week and I'm desperate to try the infamous beer, PLINY THE ELDER.
Do any beer geeks know how hard it is to find out there? Thx!

Belize Oct 24, 10, 2:02 p.m.
I'm heading down there for the first time in two weeks with the Mrs.
Anyone been there before that can recommend some good stuff to do?
XML Flash video player q Aug 11, 10, 8:37 a.m.
I have a flash video project that uses an XML file to call in certain flv files to play in a video carousel type thing.
It's being built/updated by a vendor and when I send them new videos to upload, I am not seeing the most current videos, the old ones are still loading.
I've cleared cache and history in browsers and still no luck.
Does anyone have a clue how to do some kind of a force refresh so all new content will always show?
Or any other solutions to ensure old cached videos won't play??? thnx
