Illustrator 2 Flash Mar 19, 07, 12:11 p.m.

When I import a .pdf to Flash the colours come out wrong. I did a screencopy to check and there was some definite differences. It really screwed with my stripey patterns.

I tried exporting my .ai as an .eps and the colours were closer (still not exact from screencopy) but the font was pretty fucked.

What do you folks do about getting stuff from Illustrator to Flash?

(ps: I can't afford new products but am still interested in the options)

I've got a clip of movieclips and I need to do two things to them.

1: Fade the clip to greyscale (I can tween it myself I just don't know what property of MovieClip to do this).

2: convert the clip to a bitmap

I've got a page with no docutype declaration that works fine. (cross-platform / browser tested too).

I add any declaration and it fucks up. (hidden divs visible, css not behaving in general)

So what what is the default docutype when there is none there? How can I get a page to WC3 validate? Or should I not bother?

I'm using JavaScript to zonk a Java applet on to a loaded page.

I want the applet in a 10px border box below the Flash with 10px padding.

Once I get #appletBorder and #appletcontent set right, I'm home free.

I've rebuilt again. This time the site is modifyable online, so whoever doesn't like the layout or colors - well - fucking change them yourself.

Seriously, I need to bug test this today.

Ignore the 'About' content, I'm scrapping that. And a preloader is coming.

press Ctrl+Shft+L (click on the Flash first) to bring up the Layout manager and play around with it. (Ctrl+Shft+H for handles only).

Tell me what features I should add (orientation of the menu and square edges are built in - I just need to add controls).

The site is pure AS2 code (no joke). I'll add links to all the source code this evening.
