Overdue invoice – advice needed! Oct 2, 08, 2:35 a.m.

I'm in abit of a quandry and need some advice guys. I've done some work with a company who I know quite well, they've generally been pretty good and paid on time but for the past 3 invoices they've been abit pants at paying.

I've now got an outstanding invoice that is now 10 weeks overdue, I've got abit stroppy on the phone to the lady in accounts, sent numerous emails etc and nothing. Not sure what to do.

I've not threatened anything legal yet and don't really want to go down that path but what other options do I have? Never been in this situation before.

Anyone else been here before? Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I just heard that WPP have been involved in the advertising campaign for Mugabe in Zimbabwe. Part of me is shocked but part of me isn't surprised in the least. All these huge multi-national companies are shouting about the whole CSR environmental thing and actually they don't give a shit. I work for a WPP company and frankly I'm disgusted.

Woo-Hoo. Found out yesterday that I'm going to work out in Singapore for 3.5 weeks at the end of June. Work are flying out a team there to finish off a project for a client based out there. Anyone else notice the decline of the on air BBC news graphics? It's all gone abit ITV. Dodgy drop shadows, distorting type, weird cartoons and icons and the crappy election stuff last night? You could always count on the BBC to do lush election stuff but it was just rubbish.
