So come on, what's the worse insult that's been thrown at you in terms of client feedback?
I've just had 'it's a bit powerpointy'

"This isn't working. You're going to need to get rid of the designer and have him replaced".

I'm working on a freelance project with in internal art department. The art director didn't agree with my choice of type for the initial comps (Avenir). He said "This is a poor font, the characters are misshapen."
His choice? Humainst501, that came with the copy of Corel Draw he uses.

It looks indeed more serious, credible and non-childish - but in the
same time also dull, uncreative and non-innovative.
So tell the designer to do something more exiting- if he has that in him.

No, you twat I can't but when you provide me with a couple of hours to "knock up" a "few" different designs and don't actually tell me what needs to go on the page it's difficult to care.
