What's the appropriate response when you find out another company has stolen your client's work?
Do inform them and you leave it up to your client? or do you try to protect your product from being debased?

The company in question approached us for the project, but opted to take some of our past client work and have an offshore company change out the content.

anybody else notice a distinct drop in performance on youtube recently? I see (in chrome), that they're touting HTML5 players for browsers that support it... and now the whole movie clip needs to load before anything will play.

I entered an image bookmarking service into the 10k Apart competition:

and I've got two days to collect votes from "my community".

I figured the design community here would like it, as it's perfect for
saving funny animal pictures, PSB's, and softcore pornography. ;-)
It also works OK for actual design related stuff, but let's be honest,
that's far less interesting.

The easist way to use it is via the bookmarklet(just like ffffound), on
the startpage. Just throw the bookmark in your favourites bar and activate
it on whatever page you want to save an image on. It'll highlight the image
and generally let you click to add it. (generally as some pages require you
to open the image in a new window, then run the bookmarklet -- 10k remember?)

BTW: works in ff3.5+ ie8+, Chrome5, not sure about Safari.

What resolution would you provide for a pop-up tradeshow booth? 8'x10'

I was thinking 150dpi, but the file is pretty big. any tips? FYI I'm not designing this, just trying to provide materials in the right res, so no printer to call for specs.

AVAST Anti-virus flags all files Dec 2, 09, 9:16 p.m.

For anyone who uses avast for their anti-virus, their latest database update flags all delphi code (apparently) as a virus.

If you run a scan and send all files to chest or delete, you will not be doing anything with your computer for a while as many important exe and dll files will be falsely flagged and removed.

The scan will think everything is Win32:Delf-MZG [Trojan]

skip the scan and wait for a fix. Their forum is full of horror stories... whole companies crippled by the update.

Looking for some technical help.

I've got an AJAX call writing to an element on my page. Everything is hunky dory until I try to access the elements that have been written into the page by the script.

$(containerElement).getElements...

returns nothing, even though the Ajax class's onComplete event fires. And the content has been loaded.

Any ideas?
