Straight-acting gay font needed.

Looking for a serifed typeface, preferably a top, to be cool and unflambouyant in day to day duties as a title font in a low-key boutique website, but to bring a touch of classic panache to the proceedings.
Was looking a very light weight Clarendon hybrid, but not sure. Anyone ?

Anyone implementing this is a cool, value-adding way ? What sort of clients are demanding the new functionality and who's making actual good use of it ? Any cool examples ?

Open Letter To George Michael..

"Dear George Michael,
Thank you so much for penning the wonderful "Last Christmas" during your work as part of pop group "Wham", it has, more than any other festive pop record, become a modern-day classic, and I among many others regard it as their favourite ever Christmas song.
How sad it makes us, however, to watch the video and see you with a girlfriend when we know that's not how it really is; times have changed and all the decent people in the world are more accepting of same-sex relationships now and as such we would urge you to remake the classic video but with a partner whose gender is of your preferred choice. We don't think anyone should have to see you pretend anymore.
Thank you, George, and have a Merry Christmas"

Embarrassing dev q..

OK, this is embarrassing:
Beatport, (love 'em) recently 'updated' their famous interface from pure Flash, to a new slick HTML model, with an awesome Trackplayer that stays at the top of the page as you navigate through the site.
It maintains itself despite the page url and content changing - this made sense as a reason to make the site in Flash, a few years ago, as it was a single self-contained movie, whose content changed but that remained on a single page.
Without trying to back engineer the site, anyone got any ideas on how the current set up works ? Is there like a command to change the url in the browser, whilst ajaxing content in ? This way of course, the player can continue playing, persistently, and the content change. And of course the linked-to url would make sense and the appropriate content retrieved.
It's an excellent solution to the persistent-player problem, that I had solved for various music projects by ajaxing in content into the body of the page, but I never did arrive at a unique-page url solution. Anyone ?

Fuck me..

I'm an idiot today; I just found a 'fun size' Snickers in my back pocket, burst open, melted, disgorging it's gravelly gooey contents everywhere.
Jesus.
And I keep falling asleep - fucking useless.

Genuine Plea

Not spam, just a genuine plea if anyone can help this girl. Apologies; I know this isn't the normal kind of thing one would expect here, but most of you know I'm not a spammer and contribute half-assedly on here all the time, can I have this one indulgence for 10 seconds consideration of this ?

Y2k for php/mysql ?

Yikes, looks like they're going to DEPRECATE the mysql extension in php, so things like mysql_query will throw an error. Fuck me, I've written thousands of those. Surely 'upgrading' to like PDO is not that hard, but ..
