Why do a lot of people that use mt to host have a little icon or write a special thanks to them for "graciously hosting" (actual quote, for example) it? It's not like mt is doing a favour... or is it? is it sort of a contractual thing?

And now that we're on it, what's so special about them? any reason or recommendations?

I hate flash...almost with a passion. I can't stand it. Is it just me or people have problems accessing flash sites?? On a mac, tried Safari, Firefox, Camino and still i get sites that don't load up, cause the app to crash, pop-up links that just reload same page or stay 'transferring data' for hours on end...

It does have some use and potential but c'mon!!

Anyone know if you can disable the 'pinch' zoom, rotate etc feature in the late 2008 macbook pros? It's REALLY annoying that on Illy, PS and Indesign this has effect not only on the document window but also on items such as text boxes etc etc... ARGHHHH!

in your opinion what is the preferred type style for web pages? serif - like georgia, times etc or a sans serif like arial, verdana... (only standard web-safe fonts) for smallish type, that is...
