I used to have a pretty good web host but I think they’re going out of business since they’re not responding to any emails and the “Support” section of their website no longer works. So now I have to find a new host for myself & my client (who has like 5 sites hosted by them).

Does anybody know of any reliable host with excellent customer service, preferably based in the US, who offers Cpanel and Fantastico as well as PHP support? Thanks in advance.

How long would it take to convert a 50minute video into streaming web video for 56K and broadband?

I'm planning to use Premier to cut it up into scenes and use WildForm Flix pro to convert them into .swf files. And making a strong request that my employer should get Cleaners to reduce the file size (which I doubt will happen)

I'm thinking, maybe they have a script that determines where you're from and lists all the state officials for that. But what happens when you're not based in the U.S.

Print Designers: Is 9 pt OK? Nov 2, 03, 10:40 a.m.

I have to do a postcard and there's too much text to cram into a small amount of space. And I don't have a printer to test it out.

Would you use 9 point (Zurich font)? Or is that too tiny. Most of the people getting this are middle aged people who are not designers.

How would I go about transporting video clips from a DVD and VHS into a Mini DV tape??

I know for a VHS I have to get some sort of cable to connect to the VHS machine to the mini DV cam. What's that cable? Also really need info on the DVD.

It's a mailto link with both a subject and body text filled in. On the PC, it works on IE6, Netscape 7 but crashes on Netscape 4.7 (gotta test on that) Anyhow, want to know if it's useable. Thanks in advance.
