I need to center a MC in the main stage dynamically. within the MC will be a static graphic(to the right of the text box) and a dynamic text box that is flush left and a fixed distance to the graphic. The dynamic text box will be different lengths depending on the text that is loaded.

all this is happening in a swf saved out for flash 5 player.

Is there a simple actionscript that will center the MC regardless of its width after the dynamic text is loaded?

Never did this before but now 'flash needs me to authenticate my password'. So I enter it and it doesn't do anything.

Anybody had this before? And have a solution. Otherwise I'll have to reinstall it at home. Hummmm...

migrating sites in DW Aug 2, 05, 7:07 p.m.

anybody know how to migrate 'sites' info from one computer to another? There must be a file that holds this information. I've looked around but can't find anythng. would it be in the dreameaver prefs folder in the system folder.

Mac OSX.

Is it possible to change the prefs in dreamweaver so all files open full screen vs. cascading? I don't like expanding every window after they open especailly with many windows open. thanks!
