    the designer buys a font, so he can submit to a contest, can't he?
    it's not that everyone can grab the font..

    Just looked at a contest site and the 'materials'. There were three well known font families provided to use in your design. Is this legal?

    FYI, I'm not entering this contest, just curious about the issues around distributing these fonts to would be entrants.

    I'm pretty sure it's not legal unless the fonts are public domain.Do you Have a link?
