Few issues im unsure of atm:

1)designed on 1600x1200screen, looks great but not sure what it's going to look like on smaller screens.

2)Used PNG's and have a fix for IE6, hope it's viewing OK.

3)Client wanted simplistic, fun, funky feel. How I gone a bit too simple????

Im really just at the art-direction stage on this and will be presenting this to the client as a concept at the w/e.

Only the 3main offers link at the moment.

Would really appreciate some feedback as im in the studio on my own today.

Hi NT,

Ok so the suituation is this...

Iv be lucky enough to be offered a lot of web work through some contacts. They want some really advanced web stuff, lots of dynamic stuff with databases, sales rep login's and search functions. All of which I have never created on the web before! Fortunately I have got a Code head on board to do all the server side scipting and database stuff.

Thing is iv agreed to do all the interface stuff. Iv never done this sort of thing before but its too big an opportunity to pass up. Can anyone recommend any decent resources on the web to help me with creating php/asp/xml pages.

I guess I need some general advice also/ but would really appreciate it if people could point me in the right direction.

Doing to front end of a website for a client. They want to put a news box on the home page. One that they can update without editing the html page etc.. possibly with scroller.

It's prob really easy but can anyone point me the the right direction pls??? never done one before.

Hey guys, having a problem with a flash form :-(

Im using combo box components for a few fields. When I export my SWF and load it externally inside my main fla, using empty movie clip, the combo boxes don't work. Anyone know why???

They work fine in publish preview and opening the SWF on it's own.

This is the first form I have created in Flash and seemed to be going OK until now.

This is probably really easy, but may require changing my flash site setup.

I currently have a pre-loader for each external SWF file. Whats the easiest way to pre-load all these at once at the begging of the Master.swf?

e.g. the user will only see one pre-loader at the beginning rather then a load of pre-loaders each time they load an external SWF file while viewing the site.

This is gunna sound strange but anyone know how you can create a flash like invisible button using the a:href tag in html and CSS???

Basically I got a really big background-image on the html tag in CSS but need it to link to somewhere without adding any more elements.

Any Ideas???

And if most of your stuff is digital do you really need a book for job interviews?

happy new year all!,

got an annoying prob with my HTML email. It displays ok in the browser but when I try and send it as a web page from safari to mac mail the 'background reapat-y images disappears' !!!!

Its wierd because it works ok on my local version but not the remote version. Iv styled the boxes as classes so maybe its the .blue_box thats throwing things out. Anyone else had this glitch and know a fix?

build a form and get the 'submit' button to send the data in that form to an email address rather then a DB. Thus cutting out the need for any dynamic, server-side crazyness???
