Illustrator CS2 dodgy file!!! Nov 29, 05, 2:13 a.m.

hi guys, I worked on a file yesterday which I now cannot open so I've lost a days work - I need some tips on how to salvage some of it...? please...

here's some info on it:
when I save the file it says at the end: Illustrator PDF warnings
The font BannerLetPlain could not be embedded in the PDF document...
and when I try to open it again after saving it says: 'Can't open the illustration. The Illustration contains an illegal operand.

Offending operator. dop3_;(///1V etc etc...

I've tried importing it, opening it with CS but no luck. Any thoughts, anyone? I've also opened it on a different machine too and it does exactly the same. (opens the file with no artwork in it)

there's an advert in scotland at the moment (mostly seen it on billboards) but the wording is:

"Smoking heroin leads to addiction"

It's mostly the 'will lead to' bit but I was a bit shocked to read that because it immediately made me think, well, maybe I'll give it a go once because I won't get hooked the first time. I didn't seriously, seriously think I'll try it but it did make me go, I know it would be good but I've always avoided shit like that because it's an instant downward spiral. Am I mental?

I believe what they are trying to say was "helping you shite"

I mean, why don't they just say it? you know, sitting in their advertising office coming up with variants on the phrase.

Basically, I'm doing a site for this format and need to know stuff like Do basic anchors work (you know like, list at top and 'back to top' button and all that jazz)
