Hey all,
I thought that i would share a super simple blog script that i made this week.

I made it for a friend of mine and i figured that there are some of us that might like it too.

It allows file upload, title, and blog entry. IT time and date stamps the entries and automatically paginates at intervals that you set.

it is just 4 total files. 3 php, and 1 css.

so, i am in a pickle and i need some advice.
i have been working as an in-house web designer for this .com. The site is pretty big, in the top 500 or so visited sites in the world. I am the lead of the web dept.
i recently got an offer to work for a huge agency (one of the biggest/best in the USA) and i accepted it.
they offered me 12k more than i make now and the projects seem cool. I like the idea of workign ina cool place and launching a ne wsite every 6-8 weeks, rahter than once every 2-3 years.
so, i told my boss that i am leaving, all of the sudden he is offering me 32k more than i make now, and a new office.
So, what do i do?
I was leaning toward the agency because i think that i could learn a lot and put some big names on my resume. In the long-run it might be better. I am having a hard time turning down the money though....
please advise.

so... it seems that gray is the new black, and grren is the new orange.
my feeling is that dropshadow WAS the new lensflare, but that was a while ago.
certainly there has to be somethign that replaces dropshadow by now.
any ideas on what it is?

I just soft-launched my new app, called prodigious.

It is essentially a directory of websites, and their developers. The purpose is to have a reliable list of sites. If a client sees some websites they like, they can look them up on prodigious, and then contact the developer directly. that means more work for you. :D

Anyway, I am also looking for feedback. I really appreciate it.

with some haste, I offered the SSCMSS last nite.
Well, after another day of working, I think that I have a package that is ready for primetime.

I have cleaned it all up. Please let me know if you can think of anything additional that you would want to see in a CMS like this.

real quick question:
i have a flash banner which uses an XML file for the prices.
it works fine on my computer, but it doesnt work online.
both files are in the same directory.
is something preventing the swf from getting to that XML file ???
they are both hosted on our server.

well, i got a little extra in my check this week and i think that i am going to buy an iPod.
problem is-Which one???
A.i have about 30 Gigs of music on my home cpu (PC)
B.most of that music sucks
C.i buy music on a regular basis, so my collection is growing.
D. i am going to use it a lot at the gym (weights)

I am in the planning stages of writing a message board app, which i want to be more similar to the PVN than to conventional forum software (phpBB, etc.)

I consider myself to be better than most at AS. but, there is soemthing that i would like to do, that i have never done before, and i am hoping that i can get a little help.
i want to make a large image scroll in a masked area using AS. i have made one before that just changes the x coordinate, but i want it to "slide".

i tried the filter and tried reading some reviews, with no luck.
I am looking to replace my fw400 external hd with a new one (since the MBP only has fw800).
I am thinking 250Gb or so. I am not sure what interface to look for (i dont do video).
I guess i want a reliable model that isnt too big and looks nice if possible.
