3D Freelancers? Jan 5, 12, 9:13 a.m.

Anyone here know of any freelance 3D folks based in the US? NYC preferable but not necessary.

(Searched Q B N on Google but only found old links or didn't find posts with good links. Sorry (K)rop, this is needed asap, no time for a posting).

This would be happening ASAP (as in starting tomorrow and needing it in a few days at most). I'm basically helping an ad agency client of mine trying to lower costs for a project (They've gotten quotes from the big broadcast production companies and did a photo-shoot to think about using stills but I'm reco-ing that they go CGI and find a freelancer instead). You'd be working directly through the ad agency (not me), so it could be a great lead-in for more work through them as I know they need 3D freelance resources all the time. They are a very major ad agency btw.

We're basically looking for someone who knows where to find a free 3D model online of a helicopter (to keep costs down), and then animate it rotating in space with the heli-blades and all. The heli would do a 180 degree turn or so in 3D space, would need a loop of the blades spinning, and then a separate clip of the blades coming to a stop. Might need a pilot in the seat but not entirely sure of that. Obviously, it needs to look good so you should have experience doing quality work. If you think you can model something like this from scratch and still keep costs down, all the better. I have no clue what their budget is.

I'll be taking that video render sequence and animating it around in Flash and having it land in a banner.

Anywho, shoot me an email if you know anyone and if they have an idea of what this would cost.

Still on CS4. Anyone here that could save out a CS5 FLA to CS4 for me? Pretty pleease?
