Same rules as last time - The source image will be selected from this thread.
Then on Friday at 5:00AM PST the 19 hour battle begins, commencing at
12:00AM PST. On Monday, JULY 13th we will post The
Finalist Thread. You vote, winners will be announced....

best and give us a good canvas.

When submitting ideas, post medium res images, adding a note to your response linking a high res version if available.

An honest, occasional case of self promotion, or highlighting a legitimate & relevant blog posting is welcome.

Please report abusers here by posting the entire url to their profile

Accounts will be instantly frozen, posts will be removed, and offending url's will be added to a permanent blacklist.

Narrowing hundreds of great entries down to only a dozen was a horrible experience. We stuck to Humor, Execution, and Creativity as our criteria. There are at least 30 more that should be finalists, but this is a competition, so enough of that.
