I have a bit of a head-scratcher with a job I have on at the moment. I need to create a site and the logo/mark is a little awkward to position and I think will almost definitely need to go in the middle of the screen.

I've found an example of a site that does something similar from SiteInspire (http://oakstreetbootmakers.com... but wondered whether you've seen anything that works well when centred up.

I'm looking for a site that I had seen a little while ago.

It was a clean white site (with golds/browns I think) about a bunch of young guys who do traditional print work... Not sure I can describe much more from memory!

Just a quicky, what are your favourite ecommerce sites? there are so many out there that are dull and dreary, its hard to see the wood for the trees... Anyone have a fine example of one done nicely?

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Most of the emails I get through are left aligned - but the Apple ones are centered, so I know its possible.

Here's a snippet of my code:

Illustrator Query Sep 14, 10, 6:08 a.m.

Hi guys,

Ive got an issues with Illustrator (CS4) and my Google searches haven't brought up any solutions.

The issue I'm having is that when I try to select some text, it doesn't show the 'reversed out' selector/selection. I can edit the text and I can move it around, but its highly frustrating not knowing whereabouts the cursor is within a type field.

I'm sure I've just changed a setting somewhere, but I can't for the life of me see what I've changed.

Any help would be brilliant, thanks guys.

Hi all,

So, I've got my wedding rapidly approaching in June, and the good lady and I are ticking off jobs to do.

We're now looking into our music for the day and I'm looking for any suggestions? I don't listen to a huge amount outside of what I currently have on my iTunes - which contains an awful lot of rock/metal (guilty pleasure) and so not really wedding material!

Has anyone been to or had their wedding recently that could provide suggestions that'll suit a wide range of people?

Instead of being hugely formal (no four-string quartets here) the fiance and I are looking at the day as 'the best summer get together' we can put on. Basically have everyone we care about in one place having a great time. So we're after songs to put people in a good-feel mood throughout the day - whilst eating/early evening/late evening etc...

Any help would be fantastic guys!

Hi guys, I've got a job coming up where I'll have to create an identity and website for a video production company. They want something edgy and not too corporate. The vibe I got was something professional, but equally a pretty edgey. My thoughts were something akin to how you'd imagine a snowboarding/skate company to present themselves.

They're after a handwritten/marker type of logo, which is pretty different from my normal line of work, so any ideas would be fantastic.

If you've got anything that could help out, it'd be brilliant.
