HTML email Q (quick one!) Sep 17, 09, 8:13 a.m.
So, I'm doing a HTML email (fucking yay!) and wanted to use a background image for the bg of the page, and inside 2 of the tables.
Thing is, some email clients rip out the body and head tags, so they aren't showing up.
One work-around is to just specify the background image in the table tag (or whatever its called) but then I seem to lose the ability to position the image and/or tile it as I could in before.
Not sure if you know what I'm on about, I try not to touch code (for these very reasons), but if anyone has experienced this before or can give me any guidance it would be much appreciated!
Faux wood wallpaper Sep 8, 09, 9:06 a.m.
I need 150 square metres of the stuff, preferably from a company in the UK, Google is giving me jack!
What you got?
Photographing design work Jul 4, 09, 10:13 a.m.
Anyone got any tips?
I have a good camera (G10) and tripod, backing material etc, but has anyone got any advice for a cheap lighting rig to get the best out of my print work, or any other advice for that matter!
Ideally I want to keep the post processing to a minimum as I have a lot of work to photograph, so getting the lighting, angles and white balance right is important.
Mixing it up May 30, 09, 1:34 p.m.
Anybody got any examples of nice (hand drawn style) illustrations used along side photography.
Im working on a website at the moment and most of the content has been hand drawn, but I need to incorporate some photographs into it (specifically of people) and it's proving tricky!
Any ideas?

Flash Virtual Tour Apr 14, 09, 2:32 a.m.
Anybody got any links to some nicely done, Flash virtual tours?
I'm looking specifically for nice use of 3D models, nice interaction, well displayed information etc.
Cheers.
Typeface help Mar 16, 09, 4:58 a.m.
So I have created a brand identity for a client, using Avenir and all is well....
Till they INSIST (and believe me I have tried to dissuade them) that they want 'with compliments' on the compliment slips to be in a 'script/handwriting' typeface!
So, anyone know of one that will sit okay with avenir? I have a folder full of them here but I dont want to install all of them and trawl through if one of you can save me the bother!
Cheers
