FCP to iPAD Oct 25, 11, 12:04 p.m.

Making a video to go on an iPad.
Size the FCP sequence to 1024 x 768 and dragging 1920 x 1080 clips in, and they're coming in letterboxed, so i have to scale up, then look a bit crap.

What's the best settings to edit to for iPad video content?

I am planning a road trip at christmas with my lady, and we want to explore some of the south west. We will probably fly into LA from New York on the 26th of December and drive to palm springs to have a couple of days there.

Then the plan was to explore some of the california desert then maybe drive through Arizona to Phoenix or Tuscon, then to Alburqurque to get a flight homw.

My question is, is it actually worth it to do all that driving for those two states? Or should i just hang out around the Californa desert and fly back out of LA?

I need to render something out of AE CS5 to a quicktime and get it to a relatively small weight at full size – have to upload / email to a client overseas and time is short.

It's at 1080px by 1920px and around a minute.

Any recommendations that are relatively simple to do?

What ratio do i calculate my measurements to supply at 50%?
