rewrite dinamic link to url

Hello.

I have a php index file outputting the contents in each directory to divs:

..
[DIR_1]
[DIR_2]
file.txt
anotherfile.zip

But say I want an exception to DIR_2 where it will not list the files inside it, but instead run another html+php shell to display the contents of that dir (in this case it's only images)

Can this be done with the rewrite rule for that directory?

www.site.com/index.php?dir=PROJE…... (lists dir contents)

www.site.com/PROJECTS (runs index.html)

Hello,

Can anyone point me to mock-ups of the default directory listing on Apache? Preferably to a php snippet or something similar.

Sourceforge isn't helping me out on this one.

DSRL to PC kaput

Can't seem to connect a Nikon D70s to PC/Vista. Worked ok so far.

DSRL working, identifies PC plug, cable ok, usb port ok. D series drivers installed.

Only changes I did to the system recently were:
1. new wacom drivers for bamboo/pen
2. installed a new AV.

Any ideas from you peeps?

Deleting fonts in Vista

Even logged in as Administrator I can't delete some fonts. Anyone experienced this? I've checked some forums but couldn't implement the solutions therein.

I'm not talking about fonts within the windows/fonts folder - I'm talking about ttf files in personal folders and drives. Vista just doesn't allow you to delete them, apparently. Crazy.

Anyone got a solution for this?

Antichrist (movie)

Sign of the times? Apparently the film distributor Zentropa thought it wise to do pre-emptive censorship on the next Lars Von Triers movie. To which the director has agreed. There will be different versions, to cope with the sensibility of people in the "United States and Southern Europe, ... etc.".

Are they treating us like children, or am I missing something?

A note of regard (I know his work has been very politicised).

What do you, US peeps, think about him?

Biz Cards (freelance)

Do you have any strategy associated with their dissemination apart from the obvious hand-to-hand presentation?

As in... forgetting some in certain spots (a bit trashy?), throwing them at people in pubs, etc? Littering the streets? Physically spamming mailboxes? Gluing them on people's furry coats?

I never did any of the above, so I have no idea what gets you more return.
