    Mont Saint Sauveur, March 1st, 2005 – The official snowboard event of the year, EMPIRE SHAKEDOWN 2005, is giving away the largest cash purse in its history. The fourth edition of this annual event is being held March 25th & 26th in Mont Saint Sauveur. This competition brings in a group of professional riders from all corners of the world as well as local amateur boarders who compete against each other for a chance at the 15 000$ cash purse, Marc Frank Montoya (USA), Eero Niemela (Finland), DCP (Canada), Benji Ritchie (Canada), Lauri Heiskari (Finland) JF Pelchat (Canada), Travis Kenedy (USA), Aaron Bitner (USA) and many more.
