OPERATION BARBAROSSA -
The Russian-German conflict of 1941-1945 was the greatest land battle mankind has ever fought.
On June 22 1941 Operation BARBAROSSA begins. Over 3 million German soldiers and 3300 tanks cross the Russian border. The Wehrmarcht (German Army) is organized into three Army Groups .
