  John is a good friend of mine from the killer Bay Area punk rock band The Angry Amputees (www.theamputees.com)

  John has spent over half of his life with no hands or legs as a result of bacterial meningitis. He has beat every single fucking odd thrown at him from every aspect of his life, and continues to amaze people with his incredible bass playing skills as well as his unmatched optimism and positivity in life.
