Zurich Switzerland: September 3 - 5, 2004 / Dachkantine (Toni Areal)
Since 2001 WORD Magazine Switzerland has provided a unique showcase for a generation of young artists rooted in urban street culture. With the WORDLESS exhibition this platform will be broadened and allow artists to show their authentic work in painting, photography, graphic design and film to a live audience.
The works of legends such as Loomit and Martha Cooper, and internationally acknowledged artists, including +41, Ata 'Toast' Bozaci, Büro Destruct, Casarramona, Flying Fortress, Francois Chalet, Hansi Herbig, Jeremy Fish, Maurice Haas, Nico Krebs & Taiyo Onorato, Raffinerie, Steff Plaetz and Will Barras will be shown during this three day event. Many of the featured artists began their careers as skateboarders or graffiti writers drawing their inspiration from the streets and creating a new art form, Streetart.
