What kind of filters do you have?
My water is fine and safe but filtered water just tastes better.
Do I get countertop reverse osmosis? Which one?

i've got a simple Brita jug plus an activated charcoal water filter stick in my water bottle at all times that works really well and makes the water taste great.

Yes, I drink water at home.

Tap water tastes fine here, but to get rid of the chlorine taste, I put it in glass bottles in the fridge overnight.

Prange Julius
Prange is the new BlackAkagiyama - I would kill for a Prange Julius right now.
Thanks a lot, Aka.Continuity - I'm curious to make that Orange Julius. A weird concoction! I memba trying to cure a hangover at uni by drinking a pint of orange juice and a pint of milk...Nairn
- ..then after about a half hour feeling absolutey terrible and putting my head in the toilet bowl and relieiving myself of freshly-made cottage cheese. *shudder*Nairn
- oh dear god. lolAkagiyama
- lol Nairn, that it took as long as half an hour for you to end up calling Ralph on the great white telephone is amazing. I'd have barfed within seconds.Continuity
- But, no. The O(P)range Julius is not that.
It's cold, frothy, sweet magnificence.Continuity

PUR water filter jug.

We have pretty good tap by American standards.
The only problem is bromodichloromethane, and a pitcher cleans that right up. Seconding PUR, just don't forget to change your filters.

I used to have well water near Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, which is touted by some as the freshest in the world.
I miss the taste / texture, etc. as it was basically straight from an artesian well.
NOW, we live in Southwest Ontario and it's treated. Refrigerator has a build in filter that we try to replace as often as it's suggested. it's nice, pretty clean, BUT certainly not as delicious as the aforementioned well water.
Stay hydrated brothers (& @shellie).
: )
- I'm originally from Peterborough Ontario, so i totally hear you dude. We had an artesian well, and it was about as perfect as it gets.exador1

The water in Madrid is very good, but sometimes it tastes a little like chlorine. → So this is the fix → It works very good https://flink.is/G2HH

Water in Munich is great, but hard as fuck, which makes sense, since its source is in the Alps. Makes it taste a lot like good mineral water.

Brita pitchers for upstairs and downstairs.
- Tap is totally fine, but taste isn’t as clean. But it’s super good here even without filtering.monospaced

Brita pitcher

Brita flow cask that lives in the fridge.

Brita pitcher.
I'm the only one in the household that fills the damn thing. Why put an empty pitcher back into the fridge? Monsters.Possibly looking into an under-the-sink option.

I have spent so much money on Brita pitchers and filters over the years, and while Brita was okay, everything changed when I started using the ZeroWater pitcher and filters. The water tastes noticeably better, and the filtration system is outstanding. It reduces nearly 100% of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and helps remove contaminants such as lead, PFAS, and uranium.

The house I'm in has a pretty sophisticated filtering system along with this UV light shit, but I still won't drink from it, I have water delivered every week from this dude in a shitty truck, sometimes I suspect he just fills up my bottles with a garden hose in his yard
