You're selling ... children?
- I appear to be getting a timeout on the gregistration page? I wanted to find out how much a consignor would have to pay.Nairn
- I'm guessing she knows her shit way more than I do, but as someone presently looking to sell a load of stuff kids this doesn't seem 'easier' than existing waysNairn
- oh weird. Reg Fee is $9 for a limited time.. Normally $18dbloc
- Well you do have to do some work. Enter your items in the system, Tag them & drop them off.dbloc
- We do plan on eventually doing a valet service where you don;t have to do anything but drop the items off, but we aren't there quite yet.dbloc
- Can I swing by with my Candy Van?utopian
- hey dbloc, sorry, i'm rereading this a day after and realise it came off a bit blunt & twatty. Great Website, but as others have said +1 for a simple outline xNairn
- Maybe also pump the social IRL angle?

Market is women (like your wife) who seem to love the world of "kids" and "kids stuff" (most of QBN, eh?!), SOOO:
I. Colouring, UI/UX is on point; fun, bright, etc.
II. Brand is nice; nothing earth shattering, BUT again cheap & cheerful! it's consignment!!!
III. Their is A LOT to digest, BUT again this may be the same market as online recipes where their are 200 things happening on screen simultaneously...
Overall 1.75 thumbsup brother; NIIICCCEEE!!!
: )
- We have https://onceuponachi… here in Ontario / Canada and it feels like you nailed it (relatively).ideaist
- Thanks for the comments @ideaist!dbloc

Yeah I feel it needs a tagline or something before the registration and all that text. Sort of like Ideaists link https://onceuponachild.com
"We Buy and sell. gently used kid's stuff"
now I get it.
With kids consignment I had to do some digging to figure out what the site was about...but I'm pretty dense so don't use me as a use case :)

Hmm yeah this is not a brick & mortar. It's a 5-day event that happens 4 times a year. It's a hard concept for people to get, so we tried explain it different ways on the website. Maybe it's still not coming across.
The consignors, register, add their items to our online system, then drop them off. We sell them at the 5-day event.
Any ideas on how to get this concept across easier?
- I have no clue how to get that across... but in other news, I am over here in Foothill Ranch... sup?Knuckleberry

3-panel Infographic:
I. Have kids stuff?
II. Add them to our online system, drop them off.
III. Profit (also could push reduce, reuse, recycle, etc.)
- Maybe “have quality kids stuff?” ‘Cause I assume this is higher end items?ideaist
- Maybe lead with the benefit, something like "Make some extra cash from your pre-loved kids gear"Morning_star

Nice Wordpress site. I love it. Has a lot of energy and bright colors. It's kitschy but works well with your demo.

What Ideasist said. It feels a bit like you used a template and said "ok what do I write here?" instead of thinking "whaat should the user see when they open the page?"
Start with a strong graphic, or even a numbered list for SEO purposes, that explains it in 3 seconds.
PS: I still don't know what consignment means. Use much simpler language, and some information hierarchy

I agree with what projectile and others said.
Folk need to understand at a glance what its all about with having to read a packed paragraph.Like the concept of the thing and tech used to scan, sell, track items. And getting folk to volunteer for more $.
Cool that you can run this as a business in this day and age when its so easy to lazily list on FB/Gumtree/Craigslist and have folk come pick it up.
