People who love Procreate, LOVE Procreate. I don't hear nearly as much about Fresco, so I'm wondering what the general thoughts are on it and if it stacks up.
I'd be interested in hearing the perspective of people I respect on here and also a few of the cunts.

I actually just started down this path too. One thing that makes me lean towards Fresco is that you can export vector.

Procreate has been king for a while and Fresco is a relatively new app. That's part of the reason you can read a lot about Procreate and not much about Fresco.
- We're talking about Adobe Fresco, yeah? Wasn't sure if there was an alternate.ideaist
- Correct.nb
- Adobe Fresco has been around a little over a year... Procreate has been around for almost a decade!nb
- So if you buy Creative Cloud, do you get Fresdkoblesky

Fresco seems to be more geared towards natural painting, with watercolour brushes and the like whereas Procrwate has become a fully-formed art /painting/animation package.
I have tried and tried and tried to like Procreate but I just don't like how it handles brushes - specifically imported Ps brushes. It's a huglely powerful app, no doubt, and is incredibly well optimised but the painting experience is off for me.
My iPad art app of choice is Artstudio Pro - runs just like a portable version of Photoshop and makes a mockery of Adobe's shithow efforts. It handles Ps brush imports wonderfully and feels great to paint with and includes pretty much all the main features you get on the desktop. Interface is a little utilitarian but it doesn't get in the way and handles everything well. I can work on something in Artstudio, save it out and be confident I can continue in desktop Photoshop (using the same brushes) without any problems or drop in quality - I can't get that in Procreate.
I recommend it and is worth looking at as an alternative to Fresco and Procreate.
- Sweet; never heard of it @face_melter!ideaist
- procreate could be ok, but feels a little.. unfinished.shapesalad
