Per the traceroute question, I ran for netflix, got nothing.
I ran for qbn.com, got
31 ***
traceroute:sendto: can’t assign requested address
32 traceroute: wrote www.qbn.com 72 chars, ret=-1
***
After 30 packets, and then nothing.Pings also dont resolve on either netflix or qbn, bit I can watch netflix.

Two nights ago? Weird same internet issue happened here. I couldn’t get to any sites to look at anything for what we were planning, but I could get access to most .gov or .edu sites with instant speed.
- This was while we were driving around town. Not even on our home network. Probably unrelated but the timing is noteworthy.monospaced

Did you try to trace route or ping?

What DNS are you using? If you're using your ISP's, try to use cloudflares:
1.1.1.1
1.0.0.1
2606:4700:4700::1111
2606:4700:4700::1001- <Nairn
- I switched to google’s , cloud flare, opendns. Same issue still.cannonball1978
- What happens when you ping the websites you can't reach?Nairn
- or, traceroute?Nairn

Youv'e done all the things I'd suspect need doing. Do you have any neighbours you know of using the same service? Can you check with them what theirs is like?

Yesterday many videos on Youtube were showing up blank. And Gmail was behaving slow.

So there was a blackout two nights ago in my neighborhood that lasted for like five hours or so.
The following day, I can only get certain high traffic websites on my internet—Netflix, Google, Youtube, Yahoo, Facebook and perhaps some others, and they come through perfectly fine. But If I try to access any run of the mill sites, they hang and then I get told I don’t have an internet connection. No QBN either :( Have to rely on cellular.
Happens on all devices plugged in or not. I did a factory reset kn my router, flushed my DNS registries, made sure there was no parental guidance filters etc. Nothing seems to fix it. The tech from Spectrum Internet isn’t coming for another god damn week.
Anyone experienced anything similar to this?
