I've got little kids and my son who is 2 is massively into "baby cars" videos on YouTube. We watch videos like these all the time. Just endless cars going through paint and down racetracks and off jumps and around tracks.
There are hundreds and hundreds of these types of videos out there on YouTube. After watching so many, I'm curious: what kind of companies make these, how quickly do they make them, do they make any actual money off of them, and is there some kind of framework they're using to crank out stuff like this without too much effort?
Like, I get that these are done with 3d applications. I get that someone has to art direct them, create a story, etc. But are people making these super cheap overseas or something? It just seems like mundane work for someone to be making to not make a lot of money, which always makes me think these things are being made overseas for dirt cheap.
Any thoughts? I don't know where else to ask this question, but it's been on my mind for weeks.

They are made overseas 100%. Even the voiceover gives it away. That one with 14m views is probably making about $25k as a base level. Much more if people click through to things.
These types of videos are the most effective at making money because people always watch till the end which is a big plus as far as youtube/advertisers are concerned. If I was learning 3D I would defo make videos like this and throw them up on Youtube.

I often come home to see that my mother in law puts these on for my toddler, too. Not my favorite, but he loves them.
I've definitely pondered the effort put into these, and I can only imagine young men in some far off place just going nuts in 3D, with quick approvals. Hilarious shit, too.
- Yes! This is the same thing I think too. That this is just tried-and-true, slam bang, crank it out stuff.mg33

Oh, and these are all over Amazon Video. Once you find one, they just keep going forever ... and ever.
