So powerpoint sucks, but does anyone know how to find the file names of images you've used in ppt? Using mac version 16.26.
Any help would be appreciated, all I can locate is help on older versions and it looks like the old steps do not work.
rodzilla, that depends on the powerpoint version you are using. Unfortunately, I have to say that I've had problems with the images in a presentation before, and mac versions of powerpoint are very different from PC, and usually don't have images / linked images navigators. I can suggest you download Open Office Powerpoint and try to look it there, since Open Office apps sometimes have more options than the crappy mac ones.
if it's a zipped ppt not some old stuff you can extract it /media folder has the images and i think it stores with the original names
Try this: Change the name from .pptx to .zip
Open in finder/explorer and find the Media folder
I don't think it will give file names, in fact I think it discards that info, but worth a shot
Also, right click and select "alt text". That will give SOME info
Thanks for the assist everyone!
