Hello - is there a better site for finding developers than freelancer.com?
I end up spending hours on there and rarely get anyone that's reliable.
Looking for help to build wordpress sites mainly.
Front end & backend. Ideally using Sage, Bootstrap 4...
thanks!

No one good builds Wordpress themes. on top of that Sage and Bootstrap? If you can code at all and you do one off Sage themes with Bootstrap your probably better off cleaning toilets.
- graduates do this work for a couple of years for then they realise they can double their salary. if you find someone, you'll need another in 6 monthskingsteven

I know i'll have to manage this site for around 5 years so trying to keep things 'similar' to my other 20 websites so i don't have to manage each site according to someone else's approach.
Main question is there a better site than freelancer.com for finding help?
Already using some guys from india but they are soooooo slow and can't follow designs very well at all. Looking for a new stream of contacts starting with a fairly straight forward Wordpress site.
- Yeah, I've been on both ends of this and wouldn't go back to doing either the last 2 guys I had about 5 years ago run their own tech companies and drive BMWs.kingsteven
- any studio i know that does this work their entire vibe is graduate management.kingsteven

Interesting re the graduates. tbh it was the same with the developers i've used before - ie they're only around for 1 or 2 years then over qualified and moved on to more challenging / interesting stuff.
I've got about 4 Wordpress sites that need building over the next month or 2. Quite capable of building them myself but trying to lighten the load...
- 2 year experience, 2 year trained graduate Agile dev salary = £46k. 3 year experience 6 year trained doctors salary = £46k ... its nuts.kingsteven
