I'm not sure if it's me so I have to ask...

Other than on a brochure, I mayyyyybe remember putting the document name on the actual document so it's seen when printed out...

    Ya know like

    CLIENT-NAME-CarModel-Brochure-da...

I just can't remember ever burdening the reader and the design with this crap.

I do KINDA see the client (marketing group) point that it'd be nice to know that the one in your hand matches the one on the computer.... "if three years from now you want to use that flyer you better be able to find it"...

Doesn't proper organization solve this shit anyways? I think he's creating a problem that isn't there and now I'm pissed that I have to work this shit into existing documents... maybe vertical somewheres will works... bugger

    Thoughts?

bridge has a nice batch rename
...in case you have to solve this retrospectively

    • and I would start the name by date,
YYMMDD-. this makes the order chronological when sorted by names.
the client name is usually a directory, the project also
      uan
    • I have no idea why he's even putting the client name in there and keeping the date at the back... we do use 170222 thoughcanoe
