Did anybody get all excited, buy one and then feel they just don't use it anymore?

Haha. I have one and it barely gets used just because I don't get much time in general for making music and I need to get myself a new laptop that's processor/ram can keep up with my demands ;)

I want to get one soooo bad but Im scared it wont get used that much... Not only do you need epic LIVE skills but then you need to figure the fucking Push out too...
With a name like 'MicroKorg' Im pretty sure I shouldnt be asking YOU this question... Do you think I should buy one?

Nylon,
If you have an iPad/iPhone then you might want to check out apps like http://www.touch-able.com/
They have a lot of the features that Push has with the grid clip launch and scale key grid. The great thing about clip launch is that it allows you to set up loads of clips then jam with clips to get the best composition.
This completely changed the way I used ableton live when stuff like the Launchpad, apps and push came out.
It makes the software feel more like an instrument.if you have the cash and the spare time to make music then yes i'd buy one. it makes live a lot easier and quicker to use and you've got a lot of hands-on control where you can tweak multiple things at a time rather than one with a mouse.
there's lots and lots of other controllers out there - believe me, I've had most of them but really settled on the push as it does everything and needs no setting up or automapping etc.

...Back in this thread to '9 day'? confirm that what microkorg stated was spot on. I picked one up on the day this thread was birthed.
Using Ableton with Push 2 has provided much needed control.
Also, it is really, really sexy
