Hello everyone,
I'm running out of space on Gmail and I would love to just delete emails from like 4-5 years ago, is there a quick way to do this or do I have to delete them one by one?

use time operators in search:
before:2012/01/01
after:
older:
newer:
I would do a takeout first.

if you have some free time, 2-3 hrs, go through them then make sure you won't need them anymore then delete. trust me, you may need even the older emails later on in life, wink. besides if you need to upgrade, go for it, it's worth it. at work, we've also switched to google business at corporate, so that helped too.
