Lots of great content on the Within app.

i wish content producers could agree on a camera height. i keep seeing videos where i'm two feet tall or feel like i'm standing on a table, which totally de-immerses me

Hate being a hater but this technology isn't going to take on for film/tv.
Games/ computers yes but for films I seriously doubt it. The lens have to be developed in a way that makes them essentially nulls them into security camera. It gives a cheap nasty plastic feel.
All that lovely glass, contrast, depth of field, framing are gone. The art of acting/cinematography gets thrown out of the window.
Budgets aren't getting any bigger and time frames shorter so sets will become to look more fake and the lighting will have to be light to one camera position - so the camera essentially has to remain still and have the world move around it. Why is this appealing?
HDR is cool and the way forward as it gives us a huge cinema colour gamut but it is still broadcast in 4:2:0 chroma. but still exciting stuff.
Sorry nerd rant at an end!

I wonder what decade that Apple will embrace or even remotely create something VR related? FFS Safari does NOT even support VR, I have to watch these VR videos in Chrome.
