The intimidation factor is great with this app, and the work it can produce. The interface is mind boggling at first. So to beat that, try to do something fun everyday in it. No matter what. It's the daily practice that will lessen the confussion and strengthen confidence. Learning the shortcuts is ideal too, to save time. In time you'll just 'know' stuff, and won't fear exploration. But you GOTTA put the time in.

Anyone just starting, definitely do all the free tutorials on Pixologic classroom series. They are wonderful to get started with the basic basics.

Subscribe to Michael Pavlovich's YouTube channel. He uploads amazingly consice and informative vids for free all the time. He makes the impossible seem so easy. He's got some great vids for beginners, but even better stuff for advanced users. He's amazing. Buy his stuff on gumroad too if you like what he's selling. Great, great resource.
