Design news - how and where?

Last time I was truly organised about keeping on top of design news was in the days of RSS. I had all my feeds and Google Reader and I used to rattle through 'em like some kind of caffeine fueled news eating robot.
Now I'm getting back into design I'm wondering where people get their news these days? I'm aware of the usual blogs like It's Nice That etc, but I wondered if there are any useful aggregators, or if anyone has a clever method of aggregating design news to make it easier to keep up to date.
I'm interested in things like:
- awesome new work
- new tech related to design
- new theories and methods of doing things - particurlary in relation to digital (which seems to now be called UI / UX)Any tips much appreciated. :)

This is a great site, sometimes it's overloaded with some crap but at the end it always delivers.

Is design still a thing?

I follow everything I like on twitter... all right there in one feed.

I switched to Feedly when they closed Google Reader.
My second go to aggregator is Facebook, some pages don't have a feed but most of them are usually on FB. Twitter and like are also good options, specially the ones where you can group feeds by list.I guess you're also looking for content to follow. I've exported some of my feeds to OPML but most of them are dated since I've stopped following design for some years now.

I would be interested to know if there are sites out there that can display OPMLs publicly. Back in the day I used Netvibes and we could publish tabs with feeds.
