Question: How do you guys manage your inspiration images/files?

I currently dump everything into an "Inspiration" folder with some sub-folders at best. Im not really stoked on this idea because if I need to reference something I need to dig through the whole folder.

I've seen some people use iPhoto, then theres also using tags on the images... not sure if that will get messed up at a some point.

What do you guys use? or have you heard of a good system?

    Thanks

    Different folders for different categories.

    - Lesbian
    - Teen
    - Bondage
    - MILF
    - Asian
    - ...

    and so on...

    • just hide the boy on boy folder within the MILF folder no one will ever find itutopian

I use a folder on Google Drive - that way, wherever I am, I can always add to it immediately and know it will always be updated when I get home. And even though the space is shared with Gmail, I have something like 17GB which I will never, ever, fill. Works really well for me - it shows up on my PC as a folder which can be browsed in Bridge.

Saying that, the trade-off is that Drive has no tagging system and at the moment I'm looking at a library of 600+ images. The online app does have a description/search option so instead of multiple folders I am looking to do some trimming and start adding descriptions - #landscape #blackwhite #geometry etc.

    • mmmm... I guess you can do this in dropbox as well. Does dropbox have tags for images?sofakingback
    • Dunno - I only really use Dropbox at work for sending large files to clients.face_melter
    • Oh, just noticed Bridge has a tag system which is also visible in Windows Explorer. Sweet. I'll use that instead of Drive's version.face_melter

Well thats the system Im already using. (Read my post)

The issue is this: What about multiple categories, like Double Penetration, Teen, Blonde, Cosplay.

If I had an image that met all these tags I would have to have the image in multiple folders on my desktop. That can get confusing and it takes up more space.
