For those of you who charge hourly for ongoing clients do you usually bill time for phone calls, meetings, or other interactions with clients?
Of course, that shit often takes up more time than the creative for me. And I hate doing, I'm certainly not going to do it for free.
nope. I work with a PM he can do that, i get paid to edit n shit.
Of course. It's called Project Management. Bill for it. Time is time. Just because you're not pushing a pixel around or selecting a color, doesn't mean you're not working on a project.
When a client hires you for a project and you charge a fee for the project, hopefully you build all those things into the price. So charging by the hour is no different.
You charge for your time.
People who work retail get paid the same whether they make sales, mop up or just kill time when there are no customers. Don't sell yourself short.
Absolutely. Even commuting to meetings is all under project management, therefore billable.
