Rapper Sean Price died on Saturday morning, August 8, at the age of 43.
Price reportedly passed away suddenly in his sleep, at his home in Brooklyn. His cause of death is still unknown, but an autopsy report has been scheduled.
The Brooklyn, New York, native made a huge impact on the city’s rap movement in the ’90s as one half of the duo, Heltah Skeltah, where he performed as Ruckus (A.K.A. Ruck) along with his partner Rock.
Price was signed with Duck Down Records and he was also a member of the Boot Camp Clik collective along with Buckshot and Smif-N-Wessun.
