The first song does pretty much suck. And so does CygnusZero4's point of view - sheltered and narrow.
I've seen Wu-Tang with a 12 piece band. All live guitars, bass, drums, 4-piece horn section and so on. It was an amazing set full of talented people.

I don't agree with Cygnus at all but I don't see how his comment was racist. Can't stand people that pull out the racist card so easily.
"one of the most offensive things I've read on here"
haha, you can't have read much.
- racist card is the easy way out of a tough discussion. lolCygnusZero4
- and this place is a cesspool. gimme a break about what i said. seriouslyCygnusZero4
- it's not a way out, it's simply that your assessment of rap is incorrect, AND racist, so the debate is almost overmonospaced

I think this section was the offending part.
"If youre black and arent good anything, just rap."- if there was a fucking edit button on this ancient site i would have changed that to all rappersCygnusZero4
- But there isn't. So your first instinct, (the most honest one), is the one we get to ridicule.Al_dizzle

Cygnus doesn't quite understand the difference between writing good lyrics and performing them.
He thinks anyone can do it because it's just talking, bless him.
That's like saying anyone can be a good designer because it's just pressing buttons.
Not racist but as thick as shit.
- I also made the design comparison but that didn't fly with him.monospaced

Anyone can rap very best, take it from R..A..E..D..
This'll probably be alright when it's finished.

after all that, not one person has posted any raps with lyrics that were intelligent and delivered in a way that any human with any sense of rhythm and vocal chords couldnt pull off. good job.
