A lot has to said for Nintendo's imagination in terms of game design. It's just a shame that they engineered a console that is at best a DS that you can't take out of your living room.
I'm loving Mario Kart and Mario 3D world, and the joy i get out of those games made it worth the spend for me. But it's the Wii U is a big loser.

this looks like sh*tloads of fun. and refreshing. nintendo isn't afraid of colour, unlike most of what the other guys bring to the table. dark and violent etc. that being said, prob won't grab a wii u... but props.

assassin's creed is being touted as co-op...
can my girl play alongside me on one tv or is it gonna be multiplayer online-only?
- It always bothers me when they are not clear about this. Co op used to mean split screen.DRIFTMONKEY
- right? i like to play games with friends in person so i run into the issue a lotscarabin
- split-screen is going extinct, Nintendo still does it regularlyernexbcn
- seems odd now that our screens are bigger than ever and we have processing to sparescarabin

Yoshi (styled like Little Big Planet) is cool.
Open world Zelda is excellent.

Also, the games I might have bought for WiiU also came out for the better consoles. So of course I'd buy them for the better consoles. I love some of Nintendo's IPs tho, mainly Zelda, and have been faithful since the 90's. But they are wearing thin. That said, if they show ZombiiU2, I'm hooked.

Ubisoft acknowledged they have games for the Wii U finished and are sitting on them until the install base grows, that's really fucked up.
But it's all Nintendo's fault, they expected to ride on the success of the Wii but that wasn't enough.
