What a great NBA Finals!
This year seemed a lot more shortcut than previous years. Lots of series sweeps, not many upset games, and we got straight into the Finals knowing exactly who was going to end up there. As much as I pull for Lebron and Wade, I would have been upset to see Timmy D and co. begin retirement talks with back-to-back Finals losses. They deserve to go out on top after hard work, dedication and pure athleticism game after game, year after year. The Spurs' win reminds me of the Mav's win in 2011—it was their time, and they played like they knew it.
Lebron will get more rings, not sure about the rest of the Heat and what happens to this team in the coming years. I think they can hold it together with money.
Speaking of the Mavs. I wouldn't mind Melo to the Mavs. Could be an interesting team with that critical missing piece.
- series sweeps? did you even watch the entire playoffs?brandelec
- Run-away series, sweeps was not the best word.********

What happens to the Heat depends on Wade. He should come off the bench like Ginobili, and take less money if he wants more rings. But these guys have massive egos so he may not, and if thats the case and if Lebron were smart, he would opt out and go somewhere with players that are more concerned with winning than their own egos.
Or he and Melo should opt in, Knicks dump their big contracts after next season, and Lebron plays with Melo in NY for Phil. I think that would be great for the NBA, to have a great team in NY but it probably wont happen.

You guys can have Melo, he's worthless.

Why is there all this talk about what Lebron should do now because they lost? I care so little, but I think it's stupid. It's media generated speculation and story creation now and that's all.
They lost AFTER winning two in a row (an infrequent feat these days) and during appearing in the finals, what, four years in a row? That they're creating a story around what he will do NOW because of this loss on top of that success is really dumb IMO.

Just to recap, I said this on May 29th:
Bahahaha, no chance for the Heat even if they squeak by Pacers. Lebron will be shopping another team after this season. Jordan stuck it out with his team and made a championship team with his supporting cast, not look for another team full of all-stars. I'm not a hater, I just call it like everyone sees it.
BOO-YA Bitches!

The Heat needed to utilize Bosh more.Take Bosh away from the 3 point line and use him in the post. Bosh was a 20/10 guy when he was with the Raptors, he needs to demand that attention again. Wade needs to be the third scoring option, come off the bench and check his ego.
Was really shocked to see the Heat turn into the old Cavs aka Lebron playing with 4 scrubs.

Bosh has become an excellent 3 point shooter, and the 3 pointer is a big part of why the Spurs won. They have great long range shooters.
It might sound crazy if you dont watch the Heat a lot, but losing Mike Miller really hurt them badly. They never replaced his firepower and he was huge for them in the Finals last year. The Heat are right there if they can get a couple more good shooters and strengthen their bench, but to do it Wade really should take less money and come off the bench.

Since the Miami Heat got their asses raped by the Spurs.... OSFA has been MIA, is he okay?

The Spurs won because they have a deeper bench. After the Spurs shot, what 92% from the field in the first quarter scoring 42 points, Miami got deflated. Even when Miami was shooting 59% in game 3, it still wasn't good enough. The Spurs lost a close one last year, and that's the worse kind of lose for any athlete so they wanted it more for redemption. The west has better teams overall anyway.

I'm watching the World Cup :)
