I'm creating a Fold out (for a year-at-a-glance), thinking that it might be awkward to have 1 side panel (4pgs)
What are the best practices in relation to fold outs that keep costs low?
Also any interesting layouts out there that you've come across?
ie.

Should mention it's a 60pg. Annual Report.

more folds more money
you could also do a different size insert, using different paper.

donotexist ...an insert may work. just wondering if it is conducive for an AR, inserts often tend to get lost (?)

they work, people notice them. it has be in the binding and not placed like a bookmark, not sure what kind you're doing. you may end up with it being repeated on the other side of the binding. depends on what your printer can do.

if you're doing a fold out though, a roll fold performs better than a gate fold.
- the roll out may not flow as well... hmmm (would be stuck on content to put on the back)...ohhhhhsnap
- and it may run into the layout... i like the smaller sized insert ideaohhhhhsnap
