Anyone else use this site to read reviews from companies?

I have. It seemed accurate about my previous employer.

Yeah, I always go by negative rating and it pretty much nailed my ex employers too,
I'm currently reading google's

when i left my last job the HR director asked if i'd fill out a positive review on glassdoor because of all the negatives the company had.
(the negatives were justified and i thought the proposition was a pretty good reflection of why the company sucked.)
so, yeah, pretty accurate in my experience.

It saved me from pursuing open positions at a couple places last summer. I take them seriously, especially when negative reviews come from people still working there.

I think it's pretty accurate too.
I was browsing some of the "famous" agencies and was actually surprised about the negative ratings some (if not most of them) had (try Fantasy Interactive for example..)
- Most agencies lean heavily on the work portion of the work/life balance. I can see why they have negative reviews, but you have to expect it at agencies...studderine

I've used it more than a few times before saying yes to an interview.
An old company I used to work at is getting destroyed by their very honest (negative) reviews. So they started posting phoney positive reviews, some of which are nothing short of copy-paste motivational quotes to form a positive review. It's comical. What's worse are the ACDs posting positive reviews by personally attacking the people who posted the negative ones. I'd post a link but the company has sued me before... :/
- Not what I'm thinking of...?studderine
- nah. older.kona
- my old company does this too. I think they just encourage their loyal few to say some words. pretty transparent.sarahfailin
- wow... that's just pathetic that they're attacking the posters, animatedgif
