Heeey fellas!
When buying domains do i need to be careful in the ones that I choose?
Are all domains made equal? say for instance I have a choice of a .kr (republic of korea) and .ng (nigeria) does it matter which i choose?
Is it ever possible for some countries to demand domains back? (i read some wierd stuff about .tk)
I looked here -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lis…
but didnt really get anything form it other than a list of options to buy. Also In terms of SEO do they differ?
Hope you can help! :D

theres tld's and gtlds, g's are global so the content is viewed by google as being relevant everywhere. tld's are geo specific so dont expect traffic from outside the designated country.
your really only renting domains from the registrars so yes they can be taken from you.

If that were the case American companies would be sueing the world for their dot com's.
