“Do-not-reply” email addresses say that you’re too lazy to consider your customer’s convenience.

this is all fine and dandy but the world is not flush w/ cash and resources for many smlr companies
- prophetone0
the big six he listed fair enough but they're making millions a day, the bakery down the street ain't

@prophetone You obviously didn't read the full thing.
- prophetone0
i did. in the end he says xml bus should use their real email so people can email them, but this is often not feasible
- prophetone0
i've had clients who needed real help just getting email going on their iPhones, that's even pushing it
- prophetone0
he suggests that xml clients subscribe to a ticketing system if too much but that's still time and $$
- prophetone0
fair enough but i'm suggesting there's a wide spectrum of busns that simply can't or won't achieve this
- prophetone0
they would love to but it's just not going to happen. i wouldn't want to label them as uncaring or assholes that's all.

absolutely on point for the lazy large companies or chains, i totally agree with the points made

Email addresses are FREE. You could also use an additional email or an alias. Your arguments are lame.

sub, i don't mean email addresses lol, i mean time to answer every damn thing that fires in in a timely manner
- prophetone0
and i mean smaller businesses are not savvy enough to pay for, or manage a ticketing system as well
- prophetone0
the local bakery with one person scrambling to run it won't be stopping on a dime to field emails
- prophetone0
that person isn't DGAF'ing is all i'm saying, they're just strapped for resources and time
- prophetone0
if you think i'm wrong then maybe you've been hanging with only the coolest, money-tossing businesses
- prophetone0
these lame comments are based on my personal experiences so i don't know what to tell ya

don't send me an email i can't reply to seems like a reasonable request. anything else is an excuse
