that microkey requires a computer to make sound. the yamaha above will make sound as a stand alone and serve as a controller, not just a controller. if you want a high end controller synth, you'll go over your budget. but there are dozens to be suggested in the making beats thread starting with a microkorg

^ The idea is, she will use her pc or my wife's Ipad to play creating beats, and korg mk25 fits, ta!
- yeah, that yamaha will do the same thing and every other midi controller out there. ie these for size...albums

Not really clear what you are looking for. Are you looking for a usb connected keyboard that also plays music as stand alone?
akai lpk25 Check out this midi controller. May help direct you a bit. Possibly your price range, but not sure what it sells for in europe.

Get her a Korg Micro Key
http://www.korg.com/microkeyIt's a midi controller keyboard that works with ipad or computers. It will allow her to play her favourite apps via a real keyboard.
I'd get her one of those keyboards and an iTunes voucher to buy some great apps.
