Stumped on something based on a wireframe I'm looking at:
If a web page is sent by email and it contains form fields (specifically a single search field) can a user actually interact with the form field in their inbox, Gmail, Yahoo, etc?
I've never seen this in an email before and puzzled about why it's in a wireframe.

The form's action might just be redirecting to a web page, but I don't even know if that is possible. (never tried)

"we recommend linking to a form on a website in an email rather than embedding it therein. This is the safest, most reliable solution to pairing an email message with a form. More people will see it and be able to use it, and as a result participation will increase."
